Project Brainstorm due Monday 9/11

This weekend think about a team project you want to work on this year.

  • Consider a technical skill you want to learn or improve, like programming, CAD, or manufacturing, or a STEM area you want to learn more about.
  • It should be ambitious enough to take much of the year.
  • It should be something you can work on with a team of two or more people, so you have someone to bounce ideas off of, someone to share the work, and someone to coordinate with.
  • It need not be directly aviation/aerospace related but should at least be STEM related.
  • It should have a demonstrable or measurable product at the end of the year.
  1. Write down what you want to do/learn/achieve in a single sentence. For example - "by the end of the year, working with x people we will have...".
  2. Take that project description and define it better with a paragraph. If it can be split up into several stages, briefly describe those stages and how they're related. For example "The xxx will be composed of three subunits. The first will... The second will..." etc.

Be prepared to share the sentence and/or paragraph on Monday with the class.
