Students who score below 90% on quizzes must submit quiz correction slides. Students who score 90% or higher are automatically given credit for corrections.

Quiz corrections must comply with the following requirements.
  • Turn in one slide deck for each quiz. The deck should have one slide for each question missed on that quiz.
  • Each slide must provide the correct answer in the slide title and a graphical explanation that supports the slide title.
  • The slide notes should provide the detailed discussion related to the correction. Write down what you would say to me if you were explaining the concept.
  • Create a title slide at the beginning of the deck that includes your name, the quiz the slide deck is correcting, and the problem numbers from the quiz that you got wrong.
  • Submit your corrections by creating a card on appropriate list on the Astronomy Trello board.

Quiz corrections will be assessed as Proficient (100%), Competent (80%), Incomplete (50%), or Unsatisfactory (50%). Students failing to submit required corrections will earn a 0% grade.

Go to Links and Documents if you questions about assertion+evidence slide design.

Quiz corrections are not optional and have a big impact on your net quiz grade as shown below.
