3/20 Update - AP Testing Plans

The college board has provided an outline for AP tests this year.

The main points:
  • take-at-home online tests
  • two different test dates
  • limited content
Regarding the limited content, they will be covering AP units 1-7. For us, that means everything except applications of integration (chapter 5). See the attached document below for details.  Since I teach content in a different order from the AP calendar, this has hurt us a bit as we already studied chap5 (AP-unit 8) and are now finishing up chap 3 (AP-unit 5). I apologize, wasn't really planning for a global pandemic in my curriculum this year.

More details from AP on April 3.

Regarding the AP unit scheme being mentioned, this was something I was planning to switch to next year. We still were going to cover all the units using the book chapter scheme this year,

So take a look at the link above and the document below.  I will
  1. finish up chapter 3 with you all online,
  2. hold live Q&A sessions online starting next week
  3. answer your questions via spreadsheet
  4. make practice problems available with AP designed online progress checks
hang in there, we'll get through this together!
